Cirque du Soleil & Disney

Recently Chester and I had the opportunity to visit Cirque du Soleil in partnership with Disney and their show, “Drawn to Life.” This show, located on the west side of Disney Springs, takes place inside a domed stadium. The best parking for this show is either in the Orange garage or in the surface lot.

Before the actual performance started, there was a pre-show where the performers interacted with audience members and encouraged children to come up on stage. The way the cast members handled the interaction was engaging.

This show, right from the beginning was amazing! With multiple acrobatics acts weaved across a story line of a young artist trying to find her way in life, each performer memorized the audience. We kept thinking , it can not get any better than this….until it did.

I do not want to give away too much information about this show, and pictures are not allowed during the life performance, but I will say that neither Chester or I could believe that the human body is trained to performed such stunts.

The show is fast paced, charming and appropriate for all audiences. And yes, there are even some Disney characters! Disney annual passholders receive a 10% discount. You will need to contact Cirque to Soleil directly to take advantage of this promotion.

We highly recommend that you see this show! Dinner before or after the performance is a great treat. There are a plethora of restaurants to try at Disney Springs.
