Epcot’s Garden Rocks Concert Series

Orange Bird welcomes you to the International Flower and Garden Festival

As a part of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, Disney World is sponsoring a series of free concerts at The American Gardens Theatre ( in front of the American Pavilion). Last evening, Lenny and I enjoyed two free concerts with the band Plain White T’s. You may recall them as a popular Chicago based band. They had several hits in the early to mid 2000s. We really enjoyed their performance-they were fantastic!

It was a great night for a concert. Temperatures in the mid 80s with no humidity, slight breeze. We were comfortable as we were under cover from the sun. The weather was absolutely perfect.

Welcome to the beautiful Epcot Flower and Garden Festival

Disney offers dining packages for the Garden Rocks concert series. Guests who purchase dining packages are seated in the front reserved section. Depending upon the number of patrons, popularity of the performer and crowd size, the reserved seating section will expand to other parts of the American Gardens Theatre. These dining packages range from $36 per adult to $99 per adult, depending upon the restaurant.

There is also a standby queue for the theatre, located to the right of the venue, heading toward the Italy pavilion.

Lenny and I were able to wait until approximately 10 minutes before show time to get seats for our concert. By this time, the dining package section was seated and the queue was empty. We walked into the theatre and chose seats in the center of the venue.

Concerts are 5:30, 6:45 and 8:00 PM nearly every day. The schedule is found on the Disney World website here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/epcot/flower-garden-rocks-concert-series/

Water bottles are becoming more popular at Disney World. Last evening, I noted several of these: https://amzn.to/3Cqe4P4 Don’t forget your sunscreen too. Florida is known for intense sunshine and you know it is important to protect your skin. Pick up some sunscreen here: https://amzn.to/4gvQOyd

Check out the concert schedule and head over to Epcot and enjoy the music! There are many groups coming in; one is sure to please every musical taste. Remember, if you want a front seat, you need to reserve a dining package.

Until next time.

All the best,

Jennifer
